In the days leading up to the Summer Solstice Sauna Retreat, you might find yourself feeling drained, disconnected, or mentally overstretched. You may be craving stillness, clarity, and a way to reset, yet struggle to find the time or space to fully switch off.

You could be seeking something more than just relaxation, something transformative that leaves you feeling recharged, grounded, and alive.

After the Retreat:

As you step away from the retreat, everything feels different.

Your body is lighter, freer, and deeply restored, thanks to movement, meditation, sound healing, sauna therapy, and the power of the cold plunge. Muscular tension has softened, circulation is flowing, and a newfound energy pulses through you.

Mentally, the noise has quieted. You feel clear, focused, and present, with space to breathe and a renewed sense of purpose. Stress has melted away, replaced by an unmistakable sense of calm and clarity.

Hannah and Millie, two passionate and nurturing practitioners dedicated to supporting your journey of rest, healing, and transformation.

Hannah, founder of Rise Wellbeing Studio, is a compassionate and inspiring yoga teacher dedicated to healing and self-acceptance through mindful movement. Drawing from her personal journey of transforming her relationship with her body, she creates a welcoming space where yoga becomes a tool for kindness, self-discovery, and empowerment.

As a mother, studio co-founder, and partner to James Daly—an established Personal Trainer and founder of Savu Sauna—Hannah’s approach is deeply rooted in compassion and grounding. She offers students the opportunity to connect with themselves, find joy in movement, and cultivate a deeper sense of wellbeing. With warmth and authenticity, Hannah guides others on a path of self-care and personal growth, empowering them to embrace their bodies and live more fully in the present moment.

Millie is a dedicated mental health first aider and restorative arts practitioner with a deep passion for supporting individuals through life’s challenges. With a nurturing, caring, and playful approach, she creates safe spaces for deep rest, reconnection, and healing. Specialising in women’s health and fertility, Millie blends her expertise in yoga therapy, Yoga Nidra, sound healing, and mindfulness to offer transformative practices that invite calm, balance, and renewal.

Her approach is shaped by her own personal journey as an IVF and Rainbow Mother, and she brings that authenticity and compassion to every practice. Whether through intimate circles, guided sound healing sessions, or restorative yoga therapy, Millie creates a warm, down-to-earth environment where individuals can reconnect with their bodies and explore their inner world with gentle support.

Millie’s work is guided by the belief that true healing comes through connection—to ourselves, to others, and to the natural world. She is passionate about helping others find balance, peace, and clarity in the face of life's most challenging moments, all while embracing joy, self-compassion, and inner strength.

– A peaceful, welcoming space with heated flooring to ensure comfort and relaxation.

Buckland Park Lake (RH3)

– A stunning natural retreat with a traditional Finnish-style Savu Sauna, cold plunge area, and scenic woodland trails.

Important Notes:

Sound Baths are not advised during the two-week wait (TWW), post-IVF implantation, or the first trimester of pregnancy.

Saunas may not be suitable for those with certain health conditions, including heart disease, low/high blood pressure, or pregnancy—please consult a doctor if unsure.

The cold plunge is entirely optional—whether you dip your toes or fully immerse, you can take it at your own pace.

This retreat is designed to be a deeply restorative and transformative experience.

Is this suitable for beginners?
Yes. Everything is designed to be inclusive, gentle, and guided — whether you’re new to yoga, never tried a sound bath, or curious about sauna therapy.

Do I have to do the cold plunge?
Not at all. It’s totally optional and can be taken at your own pace — even just dipping your toes can be powerful.

Is this space inclusive?
Yes. This retreat is open to all adults 18+, including LGBTQIA+ and non-binary individuals. Our space is trauma-informed and facilitated by a mental health first aider.

What if I have a health condition?
If you’re unsure about using the sauna or sound bath (e.g. pregnancy, high/low blood pressure), check with your GP first and let us know. All elements are optional and can be adapted.

Will there be parking and changing facilities?
Yes, both venues have parking and space to change comfortably.
