Candles at Breakfast.
Hey Loves,
I’m writing to you from my rest nest (Nov 2024).
It’s the Full Frost Moon and sadly I had to postpone my Soundbath gathering at Rise Wellbeing Studio, as I’m solo parenting and my little person is a poorly pup. Huge apologies to those who were coming and thank you for your understanding.
More live and online dates for 2024 gatherings are below.
A LOT is swirling in the world and maybe your inner world right now too, how are you feeling with it all?
Aside from getting rid of all the family’s germs, I’ve been getting back to basics with my own rituals around rest. I find that quite quickly things can slide and suddenly…I’m not practising what I preach and MY practice can take a back seat. Leaving me frayed, with low immunity and my anxiety comes knocking.
Here are a few things I’m leaning into that help centre me and do wonders for my nervous system and immunity for the coming darker months…
Candles at breakfast — honestly it’s become such a grounding ritual as I sip my morning matcha, the slow, soft light stirs more crafty, creativity in me.
Finally finding a planner that honours my cyclical flow, is rooted in nature and the wheel of the year. — The Wild Academy is such an inspiration to me. Huzzah.
Salt baths with essential oils — instantly soothes and drops me into my body, I’m loving Black Pepper and Clary Sage for this season.
An at home facial using Luxe Face Balm by Fierce Nature — I can’t tell you the number of creams I’ve tried and tested (having sensitive skin and rosacea) Oh Boi this is a gamechanger, especially for winter. If you fancy trying it, use the discount code MILLIE10 or CLICK HERE and the code will be automatically applied.
Muddy wellie walks in the woods — my medicine, wholesome and never fails me.
My bike Bee — Some of you may remember Birdie (who sadly got stolen back in East London) and along came Bee, ahhh the calm that arises when I’m out and about doing my errands, is just the best. Some of you may see me cycling with my Sound Kit — don’t worry I’m insured!!
Shake the Dust — Somatics, science and art of Embodied Yoga, Non-dual Tantra, Embodied Awakening - moving my body in this way allows joy to flood back in…YUM.
Sacred Cacao — Carving out space to sit with a cup of cacao at home and honour this pocket of peace. Giving thanks to the indigenous communities and cultures that have kept this ancient medicine alive and well.
Yoga Nidra and Soundbaths (obvs) — these are my go-to embodied practices, the ones that always bring me back home to myself. They create the space for me to feel what is mine to feel, offering a profound sense of healing. These practices are essential for my mental and physical well-being, a deep maintenance that restores and re-centre’s me on every level.
I have some beautiful gatherings coming over the remainder of autumn and as we retreat into winter. Let me know if any resonate and feel free to reach out with any questions? Click the pics for more info.
As a gift to you all, below is a soundbath recording…I hope you enjoy, let me know how you feel?
Snuggle into bed or your rest nest, plug in your headphones and get comfortable - drift off into a relaxed state of being.
